Jérémy Chardy: Professional Tennis Player Has Severe Reaction To Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine, Possible End Of Career

Jérémy Chardy, ranked 73rd in the world, is forced to suspend his season without knowing for how long due to a severe reaction to the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. Chardy got his shot around mid-August and developed several symptoms shortly afterward. The player who beat tennis legend Roger Federer in 2014, is now unable to undertake any intensive activity. Chardy said about the ordeal:

“Since I had my vaccine (between the Olympics and the US Open), I have a problem. I am struggling. I can’t train, I can’t play. In my head, it’s difficult because I don’t know how long it will last. For now, my season is over and I don’t know when it will resume.”
