Raheem Belgrave: Trinidad youth international and Wembley FC goalkeeper 'drowns' on Caribbean holiday
An Olympic sprinter says she is “upset” at being diagnosed with a rare heart condition after Non-league football club Wembley FC have announced the death of their goalkeeper, Raheem Belgrave, who is believed to have drowned while swimming on holiday.
Belgrave, 29, died during a trip to the Paria River in Blanchisseuse. Belgrave was taken out of the water, but was unresponsive.
Police and paramedics were called but he died before they arrived. A post-mortem has been ordered to confirm the cause of death.
